A small, intimate, and community based studio to share movement that FEELS better.
Classes ranging from yoga, callisthenics, foot and knee health, balance, yin yoga, fascia release and breath awareness. All classes on a pay per visit basis as the room is small. Bookings are essential and everything can be done through the Momo Yoga App.

Let me welcome you to my popular Foot, Knee and Hip Health workshop designed to integrate practical, useful, and neural tools to help you build a better functioning body from the ground up.
If you are someone who suffers from knee, hip, and back pain, this is for you.
We don’t take into consideration how important the function of our feet truly are. The feet have four layers of muscle, 33 joints and 26 bones, and for most of us we are squishing our feet in shoes that are not shaped for our feet.
This means, that not only we end up with bunions, but due to the arch support in most shoes, the muscles of the feet don’t have the opportunity to flex and extend, therefore becoming weak and immobile, the fascia becomes calcified and we end up with things like medially rotated knees (due to arch collapse), Plantar fasciitis, and also intense hip and lower back pain.
We also sit in chairs and use devices way too much in our world today, creating rigid, stuck and immobile joints.This workshop is the one that will change your life from the ground up.

THE RESET - NERVOUS SYSTEM AWARENESS WORKSHOP
Living in your Spinal Sympathetic state and always reactive?
Tight fascia, inflamed joints and always injured?
Blowing up at your family when you get home from work?
Phones and Social Media making you feel flat, anxious and disconnected?
The body and mind are incredibly connected and in this interactive course, we will be learning tools to release tension internally and externally. If we are living in fight/flight, or possibly lower down the circuit to our Dorsal Vagal (shutdown, numb) we are unfortunately interrupting our digestive system and on the way to dis-ease. Our Fight flight, and Freeze responses are not bad, we just cannot chronically live in these states.
Phones, socials, and gaming, chair sitting and lack of movement, have played a huge role in our kids and teens mental health when we moved from a play based childhood, to a phone based one between 2010 and 2015, we have the highest rates of mental health in Australia and we are struggling to feel present and connected.
It's not only our digestive system that gets blocked, so does the mind. Many of us struggle to learn when we are in the above states as the body is living to survive. So, learning difficulties, concentration, our self-talk, social media addiction, and overthinking is all addressed in these teachings. This also applies to teenagers that may be studying and find it hard to take in information.
Megs shares from lived experience of nearly three decades living in a state of shutdown and reactivity from trauma. In Watch YA Language, Meg had to learn and understand her body from the inside out to rewire her brain and retrain her nervous system to change well practiced patterns and behaviours.
Understanding our brain and ANS gives us an understanding of our pre-programmed patterns of reactivity, stress and overwhelm. Incorporating Stephen Porgess' Ph.D Polyvagal Theory, which unravels the hierarchy in which our nervous system operates, and the hand model of the brain from Dr Daniel Siegel (mindsight) we can see the relationship between the brain, the body, our thoughts, and our nervous system.
This, in conjunction with the BE HERE Method Meg speaks about in Watch YA Language, combines together effortlessly to give us tools to move forward with presence so we can choose again.
When we can recognise where we are in our bodies, the quicker we are able to return back to an equanimous (ventral vagal) state, the place of social engagement and presence.
This workshop is ideal if you find your teens (or yourself) is getting caught up for hours on a device, you may be feeling the constant pressure of the wheels turning, or experiencing issues with gut health, skin and the body not healing.
A healthy body and mind must start from within.
